International year of Batik Exhibition, Florida USA
I have a piece selected for this Juried International Batik Exhibition entitled ‘Patterns of Change’ at the Naples Botanical Gardens in Florida. Artists were asked to submit work that represents environmental changes experienced or observed in their personal life and landscapes; whether abstract, impressionistic, or realistic, art can be used as a tool for inspiring change and hope in our communities.
I am delighted to be exhibiting as part of the Batik Guild at this prestigious event.

In the Making
In the Making features artists who are pushing boundaries with the making of their artwork. Art is a long time in the making. It is not just the finished piece that we see before us, but the journey up to that point; the learning and experimenting; the trying and failing…This exhibition celebrates both the journey and the outcome.
Susan has 5 pieces in this exhibition featuring Batik hand painting, natural dyes and embroidery detail.
