During the workshop you will:

• Experiment using molten wax from a heated pot and tools including tjantings and brushes.

• Receive guidance on creating a colour palette from your selected source image

• Learn how to abstract or a section of your image into simple shapes

• Sketch a design onto cotton fabric stretched onto a small frame

• Alternate hand painted dye and wax layers to build up a colourful and vibrant design

• Iron out the wax afterwards to reveal the finished design
